Meta data is esential because information on the files is needed for Id3 tags for possible mp3's that might be made of the show files. Even if lossy files are not made, then that info on the files is good to have even just for the shn files.

It is a new program and it will take some getting used to, but having the files downloadable by name is really helpful when we have the kinda d1t02 style that we do when nameing the files. this way we can see what files are what sogns without re-naming the original files, you know?

and by requiring the show to have the info before it is imported forces all the people to put that stuff in. if you don't know the info, just hit 'update' anyway and it will by default take the file names as the meta data, and hopefully someone in the future will know the file names and update it.
